KNiulink: 125 patents in five years, adapting DDR5 interface IP to domestic memory
KNiulink’s self-developed DDR5 interface IP, from Shenzhen Futian’s “potential unicorn,” passed acceptance by a leading domestic chipmaker, achieving a measured 8400Mbps and successful adaptation to domestic memory.
KNiulink focuses on interface-IP R&D. By August 2025 it had filed more than 100 patents, with over 70% granted. Its self-developed “DDR5 MC + PHY IP” solution reached 8400Mbps in testing, combining low power with high efficiency, and passed leading domestic chipmaker acceptance while supporting domestic memory.
KNiulink has been recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, a specialized and sophisticated “little giant,” and in July 2025 as a gazelle enterprise and potential unicorn. About 80% of its 300-plus employees are in R&D; its work is used in 5G communications, AI computing, smart terminals, and network switching.
In AI and smart-vehicle applications, KNiulink’s high-speed SerDes, DDR, and UCIe products support related uses. Automotive-grade IP solutions reduce integration difficulty for high-bandwidth, real-time data transfer in lidar, millimeter-wave radar, and similar applications.
