Overview

SD4145 is a low-power ground-fault circuit interrupter controller for detecting leakage from AC power supplies. It detects dangerous leakage caused by contact with water or elevated temperature in equipment such as AC circuits and water heaters. When the detected voltage reaches 26V, an amplifier drives an SCR. Together with an SCR, relay, and a few external components, SD4145 forms a simple ground-fault protection circuit. It is easy to implement and provides reliable operation. SD4145 is available in DIP8 and SOP8 packages.
