Overview
SD35 is a basic analog Celsius temperature sensor that accurately converts ambient or object temperature to a voltage proportional to Celsius temperature. Conversion is Vo=0+ 10 mV / ℃*T(℃): output is 0V at 0°C and increases 10mV per 1°C. No external calibration or trimming is required. Typical accuracy is ±0.5℃ at room temperature and ±1.5℃ across -40℃ to 125℃. It operates from a single supply or dual positive/negative supplies. Self-heating is below 0.1℃ in still air; quiescent current is only 60 μA. Available in SOP8, TO92, and TO220.
Key features
- Simple external circuit, few components, and low cost; an external op amp is usually unnecessary, and the output can be sampled directly by an ADC
- Low power; quiescent operating current below 60 μA
- High accuracy: typical ±0.5℃ at 25℃ and ±1.5℃ across -40℃~125℃
- Wide measurable temperature range: -40°C to 125°C, covering industrial and consumer electronics
- Wide operating voltage: 4V~30V, suitable for various power systems
- Self-heating below 0.1℃
- Low-impedance output: only 0.1 Ω with a 1mA load
Applications
- SD35 is an analog temperature sensor that converts temperature into a voltage signal for monitoring and control. It is widely used for precision temperature measurement and control in industrial automation, environmental monitoring, medical equipment, and other fields.
