Overview
SD4147 is a low power ground fault circuit breaker (GFI) controller for detecting dangerous to ground current paths and ground-to-zero faults. The application circuit of SD4147 can disconnect the load before the electric shock causes injury.
The SD4147 contains a diode rectifier, a high-precision 12V bandgap parallel regulator, a precision low-VOS offset induction amplifier, a delay noise filter, a window detection comparator, and a thyristor driver. With as few external devices as possible, the SD4147 is able to detect and protect against wire-to-ground faults and zero wire-to-load short circuits.
The SD4147 circuit includes a low quiescent current built-in rectifier and parallel voltage regulator, so it can be used with high resistance and low power current limiting resistors.Built-in parallel voltage regulators with temperature compensation, induction amplifiers, and bias circuits provide high-precision ground fault detection. The low vos offset induction amplifier allows the induction coil to be coupled directly to the feedback signal end of the amplifier without the need for a large capacity 50/60Hz AC coupling capacitor.Built-in delay filter can filter out high-frequency noise spikes in inductive loads, reducing false harmful triggers.Built-in thyristor driver with temperature compensation, this design can meet the driving current requirements of most external thyristors.
