Overview
SD02 is a low-power omnipolar Hall switch that detects applied magnetic flux density and provides a digital output indicating the sensed flux level. One application is an ON/OFF switch in clamshell phones. Its micropower design suits battery-powered systems such as mobile phones and notebooks. Typical power consumption is below 10µW at 2.7V. Magnetic switching points are accurate and insensitive to process and temperature variations. When applied magnetic flux density exceeds the switching threshold, the output is low. Features: micropower operation; 2.4V~5.5V battery operation; chopper-amplifier design insensitive to process-induced noise and offset; temperature and mechanical-stress tolerance; digital output; CMOS process. Application: battery-powered systems such as mobile phones and notebooks.
