Overview
SD2502A is a high-efficiency buck DC-DC converter with a fixed 380KHz switching frequency and up to 3A output current. It provides low ripple and excellent line and load regulation. The fixed-frequency oscillator and frequency-compensation circuit simplify design. The PWM loop linearly adjusts duty cycle from 0~100%. Enable and output overcurrent protection are integrated. During an output short circuit, switching frequency drops from 380KHz to 80KHz. Internal compensation reduces external component count.
