Overview

SD3806 is a high-precision LED constant-current controller for non-isolated buck LED power systems across the full AC input-voltage range. It integrates a high-voltage power MOSFET and requires very few external components. High-precision current sensing and constant-current control provide accurate LED output current and excellent line regulation. It operates in critical-conduction mode, so output current is independent of inductance and LED operating voltage, providing excellent load regulation. Source-drive technology reduces operating current to 200uA and eliminates auxiliary-winding supply. Protections include LED short circuit, current-sense-resistor short circuit, and chip overtemperature.
