SD3815C

Overview

SD3815C is a buck constant-current source operating in continuous inductor-current mode for driving one or more LEDs in series. Its input range is 5V to 30V, with adjustable output current up to 0.8A. Depending on input voltage and external components, it can drive LEDs with power up to several tens of watts. It integrates a power switch and uses high-side current sensing to set average LED current. The DIM pin accepts analog dimming and wide-frequency-range PWM dimming. Below 0.3V on DIM, the switch turns off and SD3815C enters ultra-low-current standby. Available in SOT89-5 and ESOP8.
