Overview
SD4005 is a high-efficiency buck DC-DC converter with a fixed 400KHz switching frequency and up to 5A output current. It provides low ripple and excellent line and load regulation. The fixed-frequency oscillator and frequency-compensation circuit simplify design. The PWM loop linearly adjusts duty cycle from 0~100%. Output overcurrent protection is integrated. During an output short circuit, frequency drops from 400KHz to 100KHz. Internal compensation reduces external component count. Available in TO263-5.
